I got this new app called Tinder. I thought it was pretty cool — because the people pretty much have legit pics. If I don’t like someone that’s interested in me, they’ll never know it. You swipe right if you like ’em and swipe left if you don’t. How much easier can dating get, right? So. I met this guy on Tinder… He was 3 miles away and completely my type. I was so into him and we chatted through this app, about two weeks before I gave him my number. We finally met about a month later… and I just felt so misled. First of all, he was 5″ shorter than I expected. Second, he was nothing that he said he was. I really felt the connection prior to meeting him. Bio was everything — photos were everything, and so, yeah. This is the second guy I’ve met from an ‘online dating’ site — but I felt like this was the best one to use. It just didn’t seem like it was possible to be misled.
My question is — are there success stories from online dating? What are the best sites? Best apps?? If I had more time… I’d go out more to find the right guys, but … it’s so much easier to swipe right or swipe left.
